A small village of 400 people labeled everything as if they were on the Internet
Virtually there is no signal in a small Italian town, but now the village symbolizes the most important services on the Internet.
You can send the postcards in a Gmail box, medical clinic is symbolized by an antivirus logo, you can have a romantic date on the Tinder-pad, and you can read the local news on the Facebook's wall in the street. If we heard such a description, we automatically think about a smart city, but this isn’t true: Biancoshock wanted to show, that in a secluded village the listed services can be integrated into the lives of the residents.
So the 400 inhabitant’s village, Civitacampomarano was a great choice from the developers. In the signal strength is very weak, so this is makes a perfect contrast: All locations was named after Internet services and an old lady’s house - who knows everything about everybody in the village – get a Wikipedia logo. The images speak for themselves, such a village can be a symbol of the Internet. The creative project title is very apt: web 0.0.
