Award for the Hungarian film, Liliom ösvény
Bence Fliegauf’s recent creation, the Liliom ösvény got the festival's main prize, the Golden Olives.
Fliegauf personally received the prestigious award, the film was chosen by an international jury, which executive is Roberto Olla, the Council of the Europe co-production fund, the Eurimages. Bence Fliegauf's new film, the Liliom ösvény world premiere was at the Berlinale in February. In Hungary it will be in cinemas from 19th May.
The Film Fund gave a big support to the film, which storyline is about a mother and son, who fervently throw themselves into the mysteries and tales of everyday life. The mother tell incredible stories from the past to his son. The memories haunt them, but they don’t retreat, they are facing the demons.
The shooting was placed in the dead branch of the Danube and the Buda hills. The cameraman was Zoltan Lovas, who is Bence Fliegauf’s right hand since 2003.
