Eurovision Song Contest: Freddie will sing for Hungary
The contest called A Dal (The Song) was built on 3 sections: the first three broadcasts included all of the contestants. The judges and the viewers listened to the productions, and they could give a score from 1 to 10. The four singers or bands, who had the highest score, automatically got to the semi-finals, and one band or singer could get to the semi-finals based on the votes of the viewers.
After this, only 8 singers got an invitation to the finals. This was held on Saturday, where just the viewers had a right for the final vote. More than 100 thousand votes were cast, and Freddie (Fehérvári Gábor Alfréd) became the winner. His song, Pioneer is about uniqueness, and he doesn’t write it for the contest.
“It’s unbelievable, that I have won. It is true that I have won the semi-finals, but I wasn’t prepared to won the whole contest.” – said Freddie. In 2016, 43 countries will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. We are crossing our fingers for Freddie!
