Get around virtually in IKEA
IKEA has developed an application that allows users to view virtually the chain's kitchen department. This new solution is designed to enable customers to jointly gain new experiences. The developers and the IKEA’s management team hopes, that people can assume a role for amelioration, and they can share they experience and do some suggestions about the application.
The new program can be reached on Steam. The application can be used currently with the HTC Vive device, and the customers can move around the virtual kitchen, look in to the drawers and choose different surfaces. The users can change the color and the full design with only by a click, and the program shows how the kitchen looks like in a child 's point of view, so buyers can recognize the potential hidden dangers.
The IKEA will gather the experiences until August to draw up an overall study about the future virtual shopping. Jesper Brodin, the Executive Director of IKEA Sweden said that artificial intelligence is developing very quickly and in 5-10 years will be an integral part of our lives.
We haven’t got any information about when it will be available to move around in the virtual kitchen on the Hungarian website, but we hope, that it will be soon to introduce to the Hungarian customers.
