Tesco Hungary thoroughly transforms their organization
Tesco Hungary will thoroughly transform their organization in the summer. Fewer managerial levels will be in the stores, and the employees will get a high salary increase.
From June to an average of 11 percent wage increase program will launch at Tesco - said by Zsolt Pálinkás, the head of the network. Each department store will convert the management structure, instead of the previous three levels, just only one remains. Their plans not involve job losses, and the transformation affects all hypermarkets in Hungary.
Tesco employees had a higher salary demand, and according to recently completed negotiations for an average of 11 per cent wage increase were agreed. On Sunday, the workers will get a 50 percent wage bonus and after 6 pm (the night shift) they will get plus 50 percent. So Sunday afternoon shift is therefore 100 per cent wage supplement of the basic wage.
