Four Hungarian soliders injured in M0 motorway accident
Over a dozen soldiers were injured lightly in an accident where an all-terrain vehicle turned to its side on the M0 motorway on Saturday morning.
The accident happened by the Annahegy rest stop near Torokbalint, just west of Budapest, a spokesperson for the regional disaster management services said. One of four soldiers travelling in the vehicle suffered serious injuries and was lifted to a hospital in an ambulance helicopter, Attila Csampai said. The three others were lightly injured.
The military vehicle model MG-270 crashed when its driver "tried to avert a collision," the press department of the Ministry of Defence told MTI.
Traffic has been slowed down while authorities are investigating at the site of the accident.
