The fair features comic presentations, projections, artist talks, workshops, and the launch of an anthology of the ten best indie comic stories from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Not only for comic junkies!
5pm: Titanic International Film Festival at Toldi Cinema, A38 Ship, Uránia, Sugar Cinema, and Puskin Art Cinema
Titanic ’16, the 23nd edition of Hungary’s most popular international film festival, takes place during April 7-16 at the aforementioned five venues. On Friday, you can watch the documentary about the reunion of the iconic British band, Blur (New World Towers), a gritty action-packed thriller set in the Old West (Bone Tomahawk), an uncompromisingly dark small-town procedural (What’s In The Darkness), and more. Films are screened with original audio and English/Hungarian subtitles.
11pm-6am: Thissizz Pan Pot at CinemaHall Kasino
For the night we offer something unmissable Pan Pot duo visit Budapest again! Hallelujah! Tassilo and Thomas met at Berlin’s renowned SAE, and were drawn together as they were the only two in their studies who had their sights set on the sound of techno. Their initial musical efforts placed a primacy on integrating electronic experimentation with minimal stylings while simultaneously establishing the ominous, murky sounds that have since become synonymous with their name. So this is what wait for us during the night but don’t forget about the rest because Sikztah and Metha will be there too and I am pretty sure they will play epic techno under our feet! https://www.facebook.com/events/595491790598766/
