Feathers will fly everywhere at Heroes’ Square, as International Pillow Fight Day will be honored again in Budapest as well. Bring a soft pillow with you and enter the war zone, which happens to be one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city.
8pm - 4am: 35th National Táncház Festival And Fair at Papp László Budapest SportArena
The National Táncház Festival and Fair (“Táncháztalálkozó” in Hungarian), taking place during April 2-3 at Papp László SportArena, is a multifaceted and colorful folklore festival that includes performances by groups presenting their own local traditions, traditional folk artists and musicians, dance groups, professional and amateur folk dancers, dance-house bands, and dance lessons from all over the Carpathian Basin. Throughout the two days, take some time to leave the dance floor and discover all of the goods that will be on sale at the fair: traditional crafts, publications, recordings, and so on. Of course you can only dance to music, so there will be concerts too: on Sunday, Félix Lajkó, the world-famous Hungarian violin player, will present his newest album “Folk” with special guests.
11pm - 6am: MELT – Nigel Stately, Meszi, Used Disco at Tesla Budapest
The team of MELT returns again this Saturday to make everyone dance all through the night on the floor of Tesla Budapest. The guest for the night at Kazinczy 21 will be Nigel Stately, who already proved himself on multiple occasions. Don’t worry, the duo of Used Disco will be there, too. What a wicked night it will be.
